Dip your toes into the world of mycology with one of our Grow Your Own Mushroom Fruiting Blocks! We provide you with the colonised substrate, a spray bottle and instructions, everything you need to start growing your own mushrooms at home!
Please note that these are made to order and may take up to 14 days to fulfil.
INSTRUCTIONS
There are MANY ways to use these blocks. There are our recommendations for beginner mushroom growers!
Slice a small ‘X’ into substrate (2”max)
Place in humid area of house (kitchen by sink)
Spray with water at least twice daily
Pins should form in 5-14 days, mushrooms ready around 3 days after.
Harvest and enjoy!
Finally, the substrate can be composted and does wonders for your soil! You can also bury the block in a wooded area and the mushroom mycelium can spread, providing possibly years of mushrooms!
